A: Most composite decks in Pennsylvania and New Jersey range between $80 and $150 per square foot installed. Smaller composite deck projects may start around $15,000, while larger custom outdoor living spaces can exceed $200,000. Final pricing depends on deck size, material selection, railings, stairs, lighting, site conditions, permits, engineering requirements, and custom features such as pergolas, privacy walls, or covered structures.

Unlike traditional wood decking, composite materials resist rot, insect damage, splintering, and many of the issues that shorten the lifespan of wood decks.
